The tune affectionately referred to as "Neck"  by those in the know. There isn't a Black Marching Band alivethat hasn't played some arrangement of this song.....Go to a Howard University Game, and you'll hear it, go to a Bethune Cookman College game, and you'll hear it there too.....Go to a FAMU game, and they'll blow you out the water with it..... It is perhaps the only song that ALL 106 HBCU's have in their repertoire.....Note: I said perhaps.....

Hell, we played it all 4 years of high school.....only to get down to college at Hampton University to find out that not only did they play it......but they played the exact same arrangement of it that my band did in high school....How this song in particular became so popular among Black College Bands is beyond me, but it was always one of our favorite tunes to play on and off the field.....
