Well Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself....

What’s Going On, Musicheads? It’s great to be back. I know, I know….. I’ve been away from the blogosphere for quite some time (4 months to be exact), but it was time off that was much needed in order to present to you to the shiny, new, squeaky clean, Harmoniousflame.com. This relaunch has definitely been a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait.  In the coming year, we’re taking the movement to support real music all the way to the next level and beyond. Not only the radio stations, but the record companies in general, need to hear that there are still members of the listening public out there that value the power of real music; and what is being force-fed to our youth on the radio is anything but. I challenge YOU-my readers, to make 2015 the year that you commit to forging out your own path and seek out new music that you may not be used to listening to. When doing so, ask yourself this: How does this song/album make me feel? It’s my belief that If you don’t feel something, anything after listening to a song…..if it hasn't struck a nerve in some way, then what’s really the point? 

As for me, I’m making it my personal mission to make Harmonious Flame the place that you come to in order to discover new music to fuel your everyday journey- be it a newer, underground track, or maybe even rare oldie-but-goodie that you haven’t heard in a long time. The point is that contrary to popular opinion, there is still good, quality music out there. There are still artists out there who are not willing to sacrifice their own individuality and artistic expression for the sake of their image. This is their place, and their space to be heard and appreciated.
