New Beginnings

Happy 2016 Musicheads!! It’s good to finally be back in the blogosphere. I know, it’s been quite some time, but what else can I say, but LIFE HAPPENS, and a lot has happened for me personally in the time that I’ve been away. I made the decision that starting in 2015, and moving forward, that I was no longer going to accept being unhappy on ANY level that is within my control. For me, happiness- and I’m not talking about the fleeting stuff- I mean true happiness, is something that comes from within. The concept of owning who I am and putting my needs first is now not only a choice, but a priority, and I’ve made it a point to no longer accept anything less. I encourage each and every one of you to get on the same path, if you haven’t done so already. If you’re in a relationship that you know is no good for you- then seek better. If you are at a job where your talents are obviously not being valued, and you have the means to seek better, then do better. For me, it was definitely the latter and I made it a point to choose happiness over being completely and utterly miserable. Now armed with a much better job and home to boot, I’m proud to say that I’m going into 2016 in a much better headspace than I was this time a year ago- with thanks going first and foremost to God himself, for giving me the tools and resources to put this plan in motion.
