Who doesn't remember this cat? Smooth Brother #1, back in 1991. Recipe for musical success back in the late 80's/early 90's= light-skinned brother in a suit. Oh they were all the rave back then. But this cat could really "Saaang." I remember seeing him sing this live on TV, and the women just fell all over him. For the life of me, I could never understand why his career wasn't bigger. I always thought that he came along at the wrong damn time. Had he come out about 4 or 5 years earlier, he would have been a much bigger name, similar to Luther Vandross or Freddie Jackson. By the early 90's, New Jack Swing held dominance, and then pushing on to Gangsta Rap....which left very little room for R&B Crooners like Smooth Brother #1 over here....Well, enjoy this trip back in time to 1991
