In 1990, you could not flip a damn TV channel without hearing this song. It was really that huge! Almost overnight, Lisa Stansfield became a star. Not the 1st soulful talent to come out of Britain (and certainly not the last), Lisa put her own stamp on the R&B/Pop Charts with catchy-dance tunes like "Been Around The World," "Change," and "You Can't Deny It." Her songs were totally reflective of the sound that came out of the U.K. around 1990.....you know dance-able beats, with heavy strings...ala Soul II Soul.

Is it wrong of me to say, that I always felt like asking, "When are you gonna get the hint? Your man done obviously up and left you. He went somewhere far, far away where he knew that you could never find him.....Deal With It!" Nonetheless, I always thought she had a great sound, and never got the accolades she deserved here in the U.S. after say, 1992.
