Discussion of the Week: Who is The Best Artist/Producer Combo of All Time?

Bar None. These guys are the first duo that I think of when I think of the perfect artist/producer pair. Now I know, I know, I might be a little biased, but I think the picture pretty much says it all...... (Note to current and future music artists: "Good Luck Trying To Beat Thriller). Not only did MJ take home 8 Grammys that night, but Thriller was, and still is, The Best-Selling Album Of All-Time.....even some 30 years later. Before there was Usher and Jermaine Dupri; before there was Dr. Dre and Snoop; before there was Timbaland, and well, every artist to come out in the last 15 years......there was these guys.

Now some other names come to mind, like George Martin and his work with The Beatles all throughout their career. I always felt like he was sort of, 'The Fifth Beatle....and in many ways, he was. He was the reason for their sound being so monumental for its time. He let them experiment with different sounds and rhythms in the studio so that their music would stand out among the other acts of the day. He was also the only other person to be in the studio with the four while they recorded (normally those outside of the group were not allowed in the studio during the initial recordings).

So I Ask of You: Who Do You Think Is The Best Artist/Producer Combo of All Time? Leave a comment, or join in on the discussion on our FB page, and let me know what your thoughts are.
